Derick serves as Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy & Operations at Casca, where he oversees corporate strategy, finance, and operations. Originally from Italy and China, he brings experience as a two-time founder and private equity investor. Before joining Casca, he was an investor at Ardian, a global private equity firm with $177 billion assets under management. He co-founded T&D, a consultancy dedicated to optimizing impact investment outcomes, and Numu, a financial technology platform that enables retail investor to private market opportunities.

Derick pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Stanford University, where he was a Kwok Scholar and a Davis Scholar. He was named “20 Most Promising Young Entrepreneur in Europe” by Members of the European Parliament.
